Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site — for example, to request our New Construction Guide and Kit or to ask a question — we collect what you enter. That usually includes your name, email address, and phone number. Some forms also ask how you heard about us, your timeline, or a short message. Each form shows its fields before you submit it, and we only collect what you choose to send.
When you submit a form, you also record your agreement to the consent statement shown with it.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, some information is collected automatically:
- Hosting logs. The company that hosts this site (Netlify) records standard technical information for each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs are used to run and secure the site.
- Meta Pixel. This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It records which pages you visit and whether you complete a form, and it may set cookies in your browser. Meta uses this to help us measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who may be interested. When you submit a form, we may also send Meta a confirmation that a form was completed, including your email address and name in hashed (scrambled, one-way encoded) form, so that Meta can match the confirmation to an ad — Meta does not receive your form message. Meta's use of this information is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
We do not use these tools to collect information about your race, religion, national origin, disability, familial status, sex, or any other characteristic protected by fair housing law, and we do not use them to decide who sees our housing ads on those grounds.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- send you what you asked for, such as our New Construction Guide and Kit
- respond to your question — our standard is a reply within two hours
- send follow-up emails related to what you requested, which you can stop at any time (see "Your choices")
- connect you with the My Home Connection agent whose specialty fits your situation
- keep records of our communications, as required for a licensed real estate brokerage
We use the information collected by the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses so they can market to you.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to provide the service you asked for:
- Service providers that run parts of our business on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting and forms), Lofty (our customer relationship management system, which stores your contact details and sends our emails), Zapier (which moves form submissions into Lofty), and Meta Platforms (advertising measurement, as described above). These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Our brokerage, REAL Broker LLC, and the licensed agents on the My Home Connection team, where needed to help you.
- Other professionals you ask us to introduce, such as a lender, inspector, or attorney — only with your direction.
- When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our team, or others.
Your choices
- Email. Every follow-up email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email JLee@myhomeconnection.com and ask us to stop.
- Phone and text. We call or text only to respond to your request. We do not send marketing text messages unless you separately agree to receive them.
- Ads and cookies. You can change which ads Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
- Your information. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing JLee@myhomeconnection.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires a licensed brokerage to retain them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we are working with you or you remain subscribed to our emails, and afterward for as long as we need to meet our legal and licensing recordkeeping obligations.
Security
We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites, including other My Home Connection sites and third-party resources. Each site has its own privacy practices, and this policy covers only treasurevalleynewconstruction.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
